Mandala or Thanka or Pauva in Newari Language is an ancient art of Nepal that has been used in worshiping various God.
Kathmandu Valley, the capital of Nepal, is known as the base of the fine art. It has many worldly renown fine artist. Because of the lack of professionalism, the artists of Kathmandu are still working for a recognition in the field of art.
Depending upon the fineness of Mandala, it takes several months to make a single Mandala.
This is our step in giving the global recognition for the artists in Nepal. Here are few introduction of the artist, and we would like to remind that there are still many more to be introduced to the world.
